We were pleased to be able to finally host an event in person for the first time in two years - and it was a great success. Despite the heavy rain and windy conditions for travel and general nervousness about the most recent Covid variant, we still had hundreds of members join us in person or virtually in our annual Christmas event where we raise money for the Arsenal Foundation.
Per Mertesacker was our guest and members enjoyed hearing about his career, his role with the academy and views on the club.
Approximately £3k was raised for the foundation which really will help make a difference and some members went home with some fantastic prizes!
A massive thank you every single member who attended either aspect of the event, donated or just generally supported.
Also a big thank you to Per Mertesacker for giving up his evening to come and talk to us.
