AST to keep working for more tickets to be allocated to European finalists

Many AST members and Arsenal fans are of course very disappointed not to have been allocated tickets for Budapest. The allocation of 17,000 is just too small.

The AST has been campaigning on this issue since the final in Baku and supporting the work of the FSE to improve arrangements at the finals.

There have been improvements arising from this campaigning. Allocations are larger than they were and many more tickets are made available at fan friendly prices.

But there is more to do to reach our objective of two thirds of tickets being allocated to the finalists and larger stadium selected to host the Finals.

We discussed this issue this week at an Arsenal Advisory Board (AAB).

Arsenal understand our frustration and the executive team had already raised the issue directly with senior UEFA officials at the semi-final. We agreed to work together and with other relevant football stakeholders to make the case to UEFA for increasing allocations at future finals.

This won’t change the challenges for this year but will hopefully see improved arrangements when Arsenal reach future finals.
