AST Survey on Ticketing: Results
The AST has recently undertaken a lot of work on ticketing. This has been driven by the exceptional increase in demand and associated issues this creates.
We have been able to secure some benefits including the removal of most fees for Ticket Transfer and Ticket Exchange and the introduction of the ‘use it or lose it’ policy for season tickets, which has helped address the problem of empty seats and made more tickets available for matchday sales.

In May 2024 we asked our membership to give us their views on issues that will arise in the next few weeks. The results of this survey are set out below and you can read all the written responses in the attached document.

Value for money and ticket prices
- Do you think that Season ticket and individual match ticket prices at Arsenal represent good value for money?

- Ticketing income for the current 2023-24 season will be in the region of 20% of overall club revenues. With the vast majority of income now coming from broadcasting and commercial activities, do you think clubs, including Arsenal, should use this to mitigate ticket price increases?

Family Enclosure: Access and Pricing
Arsenal have announced plans to remove the family enclosure for season 2024-25. We have received representation from members, concerned that this will mean there is no dedicated safe space for young children and families. Additionally, these changes will mean senior supporters will no longer have the option of moving to the Family Enclosure area and purchasing a season ticket at a reduced price. However, the club do plan to offer an increased number of junior concessions across the stadium (with the price reduction moving from 67% to 50%).

The option of a 19-game season ticket
The AST has been advocating the option of a 19-game Premier League only season ticket for supporters who want it (with season ticket holders still able to opt in to all cup games if they prefer). This would replicate how all other Premier League clubs operate and give supporters the choice of a cheaper season ticket. It would also open up more tickets for silver and red members to purchase.

Matchday ticket sales/ballot
The club have committed to reviewing the balloting distribution arrangements at the end of its first full season of operation.
- Do you support the ballot being run so that once a member has been awarded a ticket, they cannot enter a set number of future ballots, thus giving priority to those who have yet to be offered a ticket?
